This year will be the MRU Squash Club's 11th Anniversary. To celebrate, we will be hosting a Men’s Professional Squash Association (PSA) US $9K event. Expect to see some of the world's best players competing and come witness some amazing squash play. The $9K, PSA Division is limited to 16 players.

 

Schedule

Professionals start on Wednesday the 21st, with finals happening on Sunday, the 25th. Local amateur players start on Wednesday evening @ 6 p.m., with out-of-town participants starting Friday evening @ 6 p.m.

We will be hosting a dinner Saturday night with music and silent auction...and perhaps even some dancing.

Prizes

Men’s PSA Division, US $9,000.

Amateur divisions will be awarded prizes for each winner and runner up.

Sponsors

The MRU Open takes place annually in the Mount Royal University Recreation Centre. The squash courts are located at the complex's heart, where they are visible to staff, students and recreation members at the facility. This provides great exposure to both the players, spectators and members of the public that stop to watch the inspiring amateur and professional matches.  

Our show court has two glass-walls and features visibility for all entering and exiting the facility - just steps from the entrance.  Sponsors can enjoy five-days exposure to dedicated players (100+), family, friends, and spectators (300+); as well as the stream of students and public passing by.

Silent Auction Items

We are looking for items of value to auction throughout the tournament.  These items will be placed in a central location visible to participants and spectators.  This is an opportunity to showcase your company through display of your name or products at our silent auction table.  
Silent auction items can be physical - such as gift baskets, retail products, or anything that can  be displayed on the table. Gift cards for services, coupons or discount options are also popular items. If one is interested in donating, please Contact Us
