Membership 

Annual membership runs from September 1 – August 31
Cost: $30 per year

Monthly Box-League

Play at one’s appropriate level, improve skills and meet other members. Players organize four to five matches per month based on their availability,

(i.e. day-times, evenings or weekends). A new box is set at the beginning of each month.

Note: Players are responsible for booking courts and for court access.

Interclub Play

Competitive play against other Calgary clubs - novice to advanced levels - for teams consisting a minimum of four players.

Matches are conducted every second Tuesday (and possibly Wednesday), from September to April, featuring 7 - 8 home and 7 - 8 away matches.

The first half of each match-evening is spent playing. The second, socializing with that evening's opponent.

Additional fees include a Squash Alberta membership, social fees and an interclub team-fee. 

Squash Clinics

Group lessons for MRU Squash Club members are conducted by our coaches.   Classes involve a mix of technical instruction, drills and competitive games.

 

Develop one's game, learn new skills and get on-court with fellow squash enthusiasts.

Drop-in Play 

Attend Weekend Drop-ins Saturday (Intermediate to Advanced levels) and Sunday (Beginner to Intermediate) 9:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m

 

A couple of facts about the service:

 

-Free to MRU Squash Club members

-Coaching sign-up will occur on a first-come, first-serve basis each morning

-Maximum 15-minute duration, depending on number of participants

-Court F will be reserved as the 'Coaching Court'

-Coaching can be based on players' request, or the coach can do an assessment of players' needs

-Coaching is optional

-Drop-ins are on Courts D,E,F

Tournaments

MRU Squash club is running 3 or 4 fun tournaments a season.
